At Kelly Lynn Aesthetics, we emphasize that the longevity of your treatment result is determined by the dosage. Proper treatment of the area is necessary to obtain benefits that last up to three to four months. Following your injections, you will see gradual improvements for up to two weeks. Another treatment is most appropriate when muscle activity begins to return but wrinkles have not yet reappeared.

Following treatment at Kelly Lynn Aesthetics, you can return to your regular routine immediately.  Some mild tenderness or bruising may occur. In some instances, you may experience a minor headache for 24 hours, which can be addressed with Tylenol but will subside on its own shortly after.  Aftercare instructions include staying upright for four hours post treatment, avoiding strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for twenty-four hours, and avoid applying heavy pressure on the treated areas such as massages, facials, and brow waxing for a week. 

Dermal fillers can last anywhere from a few months all the way up to a few years. This can vary depending on the type of filler used, the amount of filler used, and the injection site. Due to Dermal Fillers having a thicker gel-like viscosity, some effects will become visible the day of treatment, however full effect and results will be visible after 3-4 weeks .  Common side effects from Dermal Filler injections are swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort. These are minor side effects that resolve in a few days. It is common for swelling to peak in the first 24 hours post treatment, however drinking lots of water, sleeping elevated, and applying ice moderately on the treated area will provide a quicker recovery.

You should refrain from strenuous exercise, hot tubs, saunas, air travel, exfoliating skincare products, or applying makeup for the first twenty-four hours. Please be sure no dental work (cleanings included) are done 2 weeks before or after treatment. Dermal Fillers are placed using a series of injections into the skin. To avoid infection or complications, you must keep the treated area clean and free from bacteria.
